In this webinar, we analyze the current context of the rural environment and how digitalization can become a key lever to open new business opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Through a practical and approachable approach, we address how technology is helping many rural SMEs improve their competitiveness, diversify their activities, and overcome structural challenges such as geographical dispersion, generational change, or limited connectivity. We have the participation of three very complementary profiles:
- Entrelobas, an innovative SME that has managed to integrate digital tools to boost its ecological livestock model, increase its visibility, and expand its reach beyond its rural environment.
- Daniel Fernández, a technician at the Rural SME Acceleration Office – Eder Consortium, who works daily with SMEs in the area, supporting them in their digital transformation process and providing a close view of their real needs.
- Gerardo Sernández Martínez, Director at NTT DATA, with a long history of advising SMEs and extensive experience in digitalization initiatives adapted to rural settings.
During the session, the main challenges, opportunities, and practical solutions for advancing digitalization in these environments are addressed. Real cases and inspiring ideas that can help other rural companies take the step towards digital in a sustainable, realistic, and context-adapted way are also shared.
